Lab 5- Keyboard
Design guidelines for lab
5 .
March 1, 2002
The keyboard acts as input to CAPC. KTG data storage uses a general 16-bit
register. The decoder sends the signal to a three-input AND gate, and then
to the KTG register. The T7 from clock and fetch line respectively connects
to the input of the three-input AND gate. So far we have not integrated the
KTG into the CAPC yet.

March 8, 2002 - Modification
We use 4 Hex components to enter data. Each unit produces
a translation of a Hex value into its associated binary digit.
Keyboard integrated into CAPC. No problems with integration.

If you can't
find the ANY key, we suggest CTRL-ALT-DELETE. We actually prefer
CTRL-ALT-DELETE. Go and try it right now. Press the buttons
a few times very quickly, and you'll be in for a neat surprise.
Sorry, only valid in Win98 systems. Contact your local retailer
if this doesn't work. |
