The ASCII Translater Codes

Three devices were designed to help visualize the processes of our CAPC computer. You can see translaters in the image below. We were able to identify SENDER, VALUE, LOADER1, LOADER2, and MACHINE STATE. Their current values are displayed in the translater. The coloured bar on the right side lights up to show the current signal of the fetch/execute cycle. Whenever something is read from RAM, the READRAM unit lights up. In this example, PC is sending its value to MAR and X during the fetch cycle. The table below shows the ASCII codes utilized in the translaters.
